Product details

Origins

The White Widow strain was first created in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds. It has South Indian Indica and Brazilain Sativa lineage.

Composition

Cannabis 1A 18/1 targets a THC level of 16.7% and a CBD level of less than 1%. This product includes the whole, dried plant flower. There are many compounds that make up the cannabis plant, and these include cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. The terpenes that make up this strain are Pinene, Myrcene, and Caryophyllene. Terpenes can come with their own range of benefits, separate to the cannabis plant. For example, Caryophyllene is linked to being an anti-inflammatory agent, in addition to possibly being able to reduce pain and anxiety.

Storage

Storing your cannabis product correctly will prolong its life. Keep it in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight. It’s essential to keep this product (and any cannabinoid product) out of the reach of children and animals.

Dosing guidelines

The guidance provided here is not intended to be medical advice – patients will discuss their dosage guidelines with a medical professional independently before beginning their treatment.

If patients are uncomfortable with vaping the product, then they can opt to combine it with their food or drink. This method of administration will take between one and two hours to feel the effects, but the benefits can last for up to ten hours. This is ideal for patients who need to feel the purported effects that medical cannabis may provide for the whole day. If a patient already vapes or smokes, then they may prefer this method. It’s well-established that you can feel the effects quickly as the compounds have been inhaled via the lungs. Your weight, metabolism, and body fat percentage can influence the length of these times.

Lab testing

Weeco ensures that they comply with all testing and regulations. They possess all of the necessary licences to legally sell medical cannabis products, such as EU GDP certification. They note on their website that they comply with the highest pharmaceutical quality standards in terms of testing. They comply with the EU GMP guidelines, otherwise known as Good Manufacturing Practice.

Disclaimer

The current scientific literature pertaining to medical cannabis (and its potential benefits) is promising. However, there needs to be a large expansion on peer-reviewed studies and reviews in order to draw official conclusions.
