Product details
Origins
Dark Star was first bred inside by T.H. Seeds. It is a cross between Mazar-I-Sharif and Purple Kush.
Composition
Every batch of Cannamedical Indica targets a THC level of 20.5% and a CBD level of less than 1%. The dried plant flower is dark green in colour, and the buds are covered with orange hairs and crystals. They are compact and dense buds that have a strong sour smell. Myrcene is the most dominant terpene in this strain. It is well-known for its anti-inflammatory and pain relieving qualities.
Storage
Storing your cannabis product correctly will prolong its life. Keep it in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight. It’s essential to keep this product (and any cannabinoid product) out of the reach of children and animals.
Dosing guidelines
The guidance provided here is not intended to be medical advice – patients will discuss their dosage guidelines with a medical professional independently before beginning their treatment.
The strain has a high THC potency, and therefore might not be suitable for all patients. This is a decision that a licensed medical professional will make. If a patient feels unsure about their dosage and THC potency, then they should contact their doctor for the relevant information.
Patients can choose between two methods of administration for this product. The first is via food or drink. They would need to grind the buds down with a grinder. It can take between 1-2 hours if taken orally to feel the effects, however, this method of consumption lasts for an extended amount of time – between 6-10 hours. The duration of action is shorter for any inhalation method, although it’s fast to begin working. Some patients can feel the effects in as little as 5-10 minutes. Some other factors can influence these times, such as height, metabolism, weight, and body fat percentage.
Lab testing
Any medical product needs to adhere to health guidelines and meet all of the necessary safety requirements, and hemp products are no different. Cannamedical pride themselves on adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to ensure that their products are safe and of high quality for their patients. They also have all of their licenses up to date, including being GDP (Good Distribution Practice) certified.
