Tilray THC 18 – Island Sweet Skunk

Tilray THC 18 - Island Sweet Skunk

Product details

Origins

Island Sweet Skunk was first bred in Vancouver Island. It’s lineage points to Skunk #1.

Composition

Patients can buy containers of Tilray THC 18 with 5 grams of dried plant flower in each. Every batch targets a THC level of 18.9% and a CBD level of 2%.

Alongside the cannabinoid content, this strain contains terpenes. The dominant terpenes in the Tilray THC 18 include Trans-nerolidol, Humulene, and Pinene. Terpenes contribute to the full profile of cannabis and work alongside the other cannabinoids and flavonoids in the plant. Trans-nerolidol is a lesser-known terpene that may help to fight off damaging bacteria, as well as having sedative effects. Humulene is a well-researched terpene and is popular for its purported anti-inflammatory, appetite suppressant, and analgesic properties. Finally, Pinene can help to neutralise some of the unwanted side effects of THC, like anxious thoughts and short-term memory issues. It achieves this through the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase activity in the patient’s brain, thus causing the patient to retain memories more effectively.

Storage

Storing your cannabis product correctly will prolong its life. Keep it in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight. It’s essential to keep this product (and any cannabinoid product) out of the reach of children and animals.

Dosing guidelines

The guidance provided here is not intended to be medical advice – patients will discuss their dosage guidelines with a medical professional independently before beginning their treatment.

Users of this strain of cannabis should begin with a lower dose, regardless of their medical cannabis experience. This is because every strain of cannabis can cause different effects. Patients should ensure that they remain hydrated during their cannabis use. If the patient is already suffering from paranoia, dizziness, or headaches, then a medical professional may prescribe a balanced strain of medical cannabis.

Tilray THC 18 can be administered by inhalation or orally in food and drink. Patients who need fast relief from the symptoms of their condition typically choose the inhalation method, as it can take as little as five minutes to take effect. For more sustained effects, patients may choose to consume their cannabis orally, as the benefits can last for up to ten hours.

Lab testing

Tilray, like the majority of other medical cannabis brands, engages in third-party lab testing. This is a form of unbiased testing conducted by a laboratory that is not associated with the brand. This ensures fair results and confirms that the safety profile and ingredients are correct.
