Tilray THC 18 Spotlight Vancouver – Jack Herer

Tilray THC 18 Spotlight Vancouver - Jack Herer

Origins

This strain was created in the Netherlands, during the 1990’s. This strain has Sativa genetics. Sativa plants are much thinner than Indica, with tall leaves. In fact, they can sometimes grow up to twelve feet and longer. In comparison to Indica, Sativa plants can take more time to mature.

Composition

Every 15g batch of Tilray THC 18 Spotlight Vancouver targets a THC level of 19.7% and a CBD level of less than 1%. Due to the high THC potency, this strain may not be suitable for inexperienced medical cannabis users.

In terms of its appearance, the buds are fairly long and compact. The buds are green with orange pistil hairs covering them. The most dominant terpene in this strain is Terpinolene. On its own, this terpene has made its mark for its antioxidant properties, as well as being a potential anti-cancer agent.

Storage

Storing your cannabis product correctly will prolong its life. Keep it in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight. It’s essential to keep this product (and any cannabinoid product) out of the reach of children and animals.

Dosing guidelines

The guidance provided here is not intended to be medical advice – patients will discuss their dosage guidelines with a medical professional independently before beginning their treatment.

Inhaling this product is an option for patients who wish to feel the benefits of their treatment quickly. They would need to smoke or vape the product and inhale it via their lungs. The effects can then be felt within ten minutes. The duration of action can last for a maximum of four hours, therefore this method of consumption may not suit all disorders. To feel the sustained effects of medical cannabis throughout the day, patients would be better to combine it with their drink or food. Other factors can come into play here (height, weight, body fat percentage), thus these times are not an exact science.

Lab testing

Like all medical cannabis companies, Tilray understands the importance of lab testing. Not only do they ensure that their products are tested in-house, but also third-party lab tested. This is a form of unbiased testing that will declare the ingredients, safety, THC content, and confirm the product is free from any dangerous chemicals.
